Some Italian beauty brands have joined e-commerce in China (Tmall Global), as they might found the the growing demand among Chinese consumers for imported cosmetics and skincare products.
The brands include Deborah Group, Kiko, Diego dalla Palma Group, RVB Lab brand, Tmall global is a cross-border e-commerce channel, owned by Alibaba Group which listed in NYSE, the cosmetic and skincare market in China reached $3.7 billion in March 2018, which gains 27% from the same period two years ago.
CEO of Diego dalla Palma, Micol Caivano called the launch of the e-commerce flagship store in China is a “great opportunity” for the company, she added, “the Chinese market has always been on our radar, and we are proud to be providing the best offering, carefully selected through the creation of dedicated products, to meet the needs and desires of local consumers.”
