Today’s youth: the individuals who will be most affected by the decisions we currently make. Their time for running the world will come, but their perspective is needed now. This generation of young people will face complex challenges over the coming decade. As they look towards setting up their own homes, sustainable living is a more pressing issue for them than for any generation to come before.

Young people are not only willing to drastically change their lifestyle in order to save the planet. They also see themselves as sustainable advocates and leaders towards a more sustainable future, according to a new global study from Electrolux revealing the thoughts of almost 14,000 young people around the world including Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (APAC & MEA) region.

​The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced the appointment of Philip Goh as its Regional Vice President for Asia-Pacific with effect from today. Goh succeeds Conrad Clifford, who has been IATA’s Deputy Director General since 1 July 2021.
He is a 34-year veteran of the airline industry and has held various senior management roles at Singapore Airlines in Singapore and overseas, at Virgin Atlantic Airways in London, and has extensive experience working throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Most recently, he was Regional Vice President for the South West Pacific for Singapore Airlines (2017 to 2021), based in Sydney.
