The China Internet Conference 2019 (18th) was held by ISC (Internet Society of China) at Beijing on July.11.
At the conference, ISC released "China Internet Development Report 2019", multiple important data from the year 2018 were unveiled, such as the internet users, e-commerce, e-sports (electronic sports), 3rd party payment, search engine and instant messaging.

The user related data in 2018 are:
Internet Users: 0.829 billions, Mobile Internet Users: 0.817 billions, Instant Messaging Users: 0.792 billions, Internet Shopping Users: 0.61 billions, Internet Video Users: 0.612 billions.

The market related data in 2018 are:
[Unit: Chinese Yuan (CNY) and U.S. Dollar (USD)]
Third party payment: ¥ 208.07 trillions CNY (approx. $ 30.38 trillions USD), e-Commerce: ¥ 31.63 trillions (approx. $ 4.62 trillions USD, Internet Retail: ¥ 9.01 trillions CNY (approx. $ 1.32 trillions USD),  Internet Advertisement: ¥ 49.14 billions CNY (approx. $ 7.17 billions USD)

As the report said, in 2018, Although the growing rate in the market was lower than the previous years, but many companies started to develop in 3rd-tier and 4th-tier cities for new opportunities.
